Jesse Guardado

As a youngster, Jesse had always been surrounded by the fine arts and the business of Creativity and Graphic Design through the insperation of his father, a retired Commercial Artist, who developed his own advertising & design business in the early 60′s with Jesse as his fathers shadow. To further his artistic studies, he received his BFA degree in Graphic Design and Photography from the Cleveland Institute of Art, The intense fine arts education sharpened Jesse’s skills in Painting, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Design, Calligraphy, color theory and it’s application and of course, art history. His framing abilities also sharpened at this time. Jesse worked for and with some of the top design and marketing firms in Cleveland. With 30 years as a professional graphic designer, 7 years in direct marketing, 4 years in designing and developing trade show displays, 12 years as an art director, and 9 years in operating and managing business and staff for a advertising and marketing company in Cleveland. During this time, Jesse had commissioned and created countless conservaton framing projects for private and commercial use. Jesse is also a past Board Director of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, AIGA Cleveland Chapter, with over a 10 year member service.

With his creative background and proficiency in various conservation, restoration applications and craftsmanship in woodworking with an eye for detail and quality, Jesse brings a personal history of experiences that is truly one-of-a-kind among custom framers!
